The graph below shows that our 3/32"  Foil/foam pouches/bags give equal or better thermal protection compared with 3/4" polystyrene.

Our product was tested over a 24 hour period using:

•  Our 3/32"  foam pouch (with 1 - 16oz frozen gel pack) 

• 3/4" polystyrene cooler of comparable size along with 1 - 16oz frozen gel pack)

The graph shows that our foam pouch kept the inside of the bag at more than 30 degrees cooler than the outside ambient temperature. Notice the outside temperature (blue line) was at around 75 degrees and the temperature of both the polystyrene (green line) and foam pouch/bag (red line)
